RBI to continue moderate policy tightening: Report
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Deputy Governor Subir Gokarn said on Monday the bank will continue with the moderate monetary tightening pace, Dow Jones Newswires reported.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Deputy Governor Subir Gokarn said on Monday the bank will continue with the moderate monetary tightening pace, Dow Jones Newswires reported.
Gokarn added that commodity prices are showing signs of softening and further clarity on inflation will come after seeing how the monsoon pans out in the country, the news agency said.
He also said liquidity is expected to come back to the system on government spending. Gokarn was speaking at an event in Singapore.
