Rail Budget:12 non-stop, point-to-point trains introduced

Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee presented a Railway Budget with a range of schemes for passengers. Noteworthy among them is the introduction of twelve non-stop, point-to-point trains between select cities.

 

The sections include:

Howrah-Mumbai,

Mumbai-Ahmedabad,

New Delhi - Jammu Tawi

New Delhi-Lucknow,

Delhi-Chennai,

Delhi-Pune,

Delhi-Allahabad,

Howrah-Delhi,

Kolkatta-Amritsar,

Bhubaneswar-Delhi

Sealdah-Delhi and

Ernakulum-Delhi.
