Q: IFCL has also been disbursing significantly to the power sector?

A: But whatever is under our control that we are very fast in distributing loan and I have no complaints.

Q: So you are hopeful that the funding issue will be resolved?

A: No I don't think there will be funding issues as far as the power sector is concerned.

Q: What is the other feedback that you're getting from the private players in terms of the challenges that they are facing on the ground?

A: They wanted some consideration which they presented to me and they are working for the nation and it was my duty.

Q: Were they legitimate and rational concessions that they were asking for?

A: Any businessman one has to consider that they will not do business by cutting their pocket. They will try to gain in their pocket but reasonably one has to find and that is the job the Finance Minister to give reasonably.

Q: So you spoke about fast tracking certain projects and advancing certain projects. On the basis of that or on the back of that are we also going to see significant orders coming in as far as power generation equipment is concerned?

A: They are placing orders at the moment - I found it is everywhere and every company the orders are booked beyond their limit and that's the reason this new company will gain new orders. That will take 2-3 years but now they will start getting orders.

Q: What's the kind of size that we are actually talking about in terms of orders?

A: We are going on 660 super critical because that will reduce the mission. Now in the month of August I have called a meeting of all independent developers, businessmen to discuss 12th plan - this has never happened. We are ready with the 12th plan now and we want to put it up before the developers.
