Long-term growth to continue at 8%: FM

The Finance Minister said that despite rising inflation figures, India will continue to grow at a rate of 8% in the long-term, reports CNBC-TV18.

"As I look at the future, I look to a country India that will continue to grow at an average of 8%. There will be some turbulence from time to time but the long-term trend is extremely positive. We will grow at 8% or more over the next 18-25 years. That means the greatest opportunities for investment lie in India," said P Chidambaram, Finance Minister.
