Chinese President Hu Jintao is in Mumbai today. Addressing the India-China Trade and Investment co-operation Summit, he stressed on the need to focus on greater business in energy, IT and agriculture, reports CNBC-TV18.

While he projects India-China trade to grow to USD 40 billion by 2010, several obstacles lie between current trade and such targets.

Indian CEOs found barriers such as pharma regulations and minimum investment criteria in China were dampeners to expansion there.

Separately, Sino Steel, China's state owned steel company, sought greater clarity from the Indian government on iron ore exports.
