Mumbai Poll: Maximum city, minimum turnout!

The maximum city disappoints yet again, fails to do its minimum in the Mumbai civic body election that took place today.

Polling also took place at nine others civic bodies across Maharashtra. Only a dismal 22% of the voters in Mumbai turned up to exercise their franchise till 3 pm.

BMC has been a Shiv Sena stronghold since 1996. This time, however, the Congress-NCP combine aim to oust the ruling Sena-BJP ALLIANCE.

Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray's MNS is touted to make major in-roads and emerge as the kingmaker.
