Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said on Tuesday he did not see any pressure on interest rates despite rapid expansion in industrial output, reports Reuters.

Data released on Tuesday showed India's industrial output rose 12.4% in July from a year earlier."While credit growth is high, I don't see (high industrial growth) necessarily exerting pressure on interest rates," Chidambaram told reporters.
