India Sept oil product sales up 0.8 pct y/y - govt

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's domestic oil product sales in September rose 0.8 percent from a year earlier to 10.7 million tonnes, led by higher sales of petrol and diesel, data posted on the government website showed.

Crude oil imports excluding purchases for Reliance Industries' new refinery were at 11.342 million tonnes or 2.77 million barrels per day (bpd).
