Gold rates today: Latest updates on gold prices

Gold was trading lower in major metros of India on Friday. In Chennai market, prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram were down by Rs 170 at Rs 28160 and rates of 22-Carat slipped by Rs 159 at Rs 26329.

Spot gold prices declined in major metro cities of India. However, MCX gold February contract was trading at Rs 27576 per 10 gram, up Rs 157, or 0.57 percent at 16 hours IST. The gold rate touched an intraday high of Rs 27634 and an intraday low of Rs 27424.

So far 7852 contracts have been traded. Gold prices have moved down Rs 663, or 2.35 percent in the February series so far.

Spot gold rates in major metros

Chennai

Prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram were down by Rs 170 at Rs 28160 and rates of 22-Carat slipped by Rs 159 at Rs 26329.

Mumbai

Prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram declined by Rs 260 at Rs 27740 and rates of 22-Carat shed by Rs 243 at Rs 25937.

Delhi

Prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram lost by Rs 170 at Rs 28210 and rates of 22-Carat went down by Rs 159 at Rs 26376.

Kolkata

Prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram were down by Rs 160 at Rs 28190 and rates of 22-Carat slipped by Rs 150 at Rs 26357.

Hyderabad

Prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram lost by Rs 160 at Rs 28240 and rates of 22-Carat went down by Rs 150 at Rs 26404.

Bangalore

Prices of 24-carat gold per 10 gram declined by Rs 170 at Rs 28160 and rates of 22-Carat shed by Rs 159 at Rs 26329.
