As Kingfisher Airlines is gearing up to arrange funds for meeting its daily working capital requirements and reducing its debt burden, it is likely that CEO Sanjay Aggarwal is on his way out, reports CNBC-TV18's Swati Khandelwal quoting sources.

According to sources, Aggarwal is likely to have submitted his resignation but the KFA board has not accepted it yet. The board has asked him to wait till the company arranges fund which is expected soon. Sources  also add that the announcement about KFA CEO is likely to be out before March 31.

Aggarwal had joined the airlines company in September last year.

KFA spokesperson has denied to comment on the development.
