The bail application of Satyam founder Ramalinga Raju's has been moved in the Supreme Court, sources told CNBC-TV18's Appaji Reddem. When contacted, Raju's lawyer says no comments. Health grounds have been cited as reason for the bail, sources added.

In a related development, the Satyam Special Court today asked Price Waterhouse auditor S Gopalakrishnan's family to submit proofs of the Rs 50 lakh lying in a joint account between Gopalakrishnan and his wife, reports CNBC-TV18's Appaji Reddem.

Gopalakrishnan's family filed a petition to de-freeze the account so that they can access the money. The family claimed that the source of the money is salary and mutual funds.

The court is likely to take a decision on the petition filed by Mahindra Satyam to unlock the record rooms in Hyderabad on March 18.

On this apart, the court is looking at past cases to proceed further in the case of Ramalinga Raju, who has been taking treatment in NIMS Hospital for the past six months. The latest report by NIMS says that Raju needs further 6-8 months close medical observation and treatment as a patient.
