Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn on his visit to the World Economic Forum in Delhi also found time to meet the heads of his joint venture partners. Carlos met Ashok Leyland Seshsayee, M&M's Pawan Goenka and will be meeting Rajiv Bajaj today. For More Let's Go Across Swati Khandelwal.

Below is a verbatim transcript of Swati Khandelwal's comments on CNBC-TV18. Also watch the accompanying video.

Renault and Nissan CEO did find time from the World Economic Forum and met all the three partners but for Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M). It was kind an informal meeting because they did not have long extended business talks in this meeting.

The real meeting happened between Ashok Leyland's MD R Seshasayee and Carlos Ghosn which went on for about two hours. This joint venture (JV) with Ashok Leyland is for the light commercial vehicles (LCV) and they discussed the product plan, plant capacity and investment because in the past the investments have been revised because both these companies are planning to utilise their existing facilities and not invest new money into it.

They will be use their old own facilities in Chennai and Ennore. We also understand from sources that both Ashok Leyland and Nissan are likely to come out jointly and give a statement in a few days from now and talk about what they discussed. They did discuss the future of the JV and the products that are going to be rolled out.

M&M had an informal meeting with Pawan Goenka. However, there is no meeting slated with Mahindra & Mahindra when Ghosn is here. The question again remains what happens to the JV between the two companies, which is up for renewal in early 2010. Hence, there is no clarity on that.

But a crucial meeting happened between Bajaj Auto's MD Rajiv Bajaj and Ghosn, this evening and that also was quite fruitful. We understand from sources that both the parties agreed on most issues especially on branding, design that was being talked about also we are expecting some sort of a press briefing by Ghosn tomorrow and he will be talking about his three different joint ventures in India an their future going forward.
