All-India BWA bid price at Rs 12,257.3cr on day 14

The all-India bid price from the broadband wireless auction (BWA) has increased to Rs 12,257.3 crore at the end of day 14, reports CNBC-TV18's Nayantara Rai. The government's revenue stands at Rs 36,772 crore, up 6.4%.

 

Bids for Mumbai, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka circles have come in at Rs 2,153 crore, Rs 2,101 crore, Rs 1,931 crore, and Rs 1,528 crore. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kolkata, Punjab, and Kerala circle have been priced at Rs 916 crore, Rs 578 crore, Rs 523 crore, Rs 332 crore, and Rs 244 crore.

 

Only four circles -- Delhi, Mumbai, Kerala, and Himachal Pradesh -- have seen positive demand at the end of day 14

 

While eight circles have seen their winning price drop on day 14 from day 13. These include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kolkata, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh (West), Rajasthan, Bihar, and Orissa.

 

The total number of BWA bid rounds so far stands at  110. Eight bid rounds were held today.
