As a part of its aggressive revival plan, top management of Tata Motors met at Pune to unveil eight new cars which will be released in the market in three to four months.
Tata Motors has been aggressively working on an entirely new portfolio of products apart from eight refreshes that the company unveiled three weeks ago, reports Sunanda Jayaseelan of CNBC-TV18. This follows after the automobile major reported disastrous sales in June. The sales had reduced by 28 percent on a year-on-year basis in June.

The entire top management of Tata Motors including Karl Slym, the head of its passenger vehicle business met with their top 10 dealers in India in Pune on Tuesday. They unveiled eight new cars which will come on entirely new platforms. Four cars will be sedans and three hatchbacks. A new look nano is also likely to be unveiled.
These products will start coming into the market in the beginning of fourth quarter of this fiscal. It will be launched within three or four month’s period.
Tata Motors has reportedly also made a reference to the competition saying that in order to meet the competition their cars will have lots of the features, which the competitors have and also saying that the focus of these cars will be on fuel efficiency to help them get some market share back in the passenger car business.
