Kingfisher Airlines has been dealt another blow and this time by the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). The airport has given away 6 out of 11 of Kingfisher's airport slots to Indigo, reports CNBC-TV18’s Sumit Jha quoting sources.
Kingfisher Airlines has been dealt another blow and this time by the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). The airport has given away 6 out of 11 of Kingfisher's airport slots to Indigo, reports CNBC-TV18’s Sumit Jha quoting sources.
It is learnt that MIAL still has remaining slots of Kingfisher and as per demand it will keep giving it away to airlines. It also seems like Airport Authority of India (AAI) is running low on patience. It has said earlier to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that it wants the money that Kingfisher owes before the revival plan is finalised. Lenders to drag Kingfisher to court
Once the airport slots are given away to other airlines it will be difficult for Kingfisher even if it starts flying again if its revival plan is approved. So, it will be difficult for Kingfisher even if it gets the revival plan approved.
