ICVL to rejig if Coal India exits: SAIL

SAIL will have to restructure International Coal Ventures Limited or ICVL if Coal India exits says CS Verma, chairman, SAIL on Monday. Coal India which holds 28% in the consortium has been mulling an exit, reports CNBC-TV18.

SAIL will have to restructure International Coal Ventures Limited or ICVL if Coal India exits says CS Verma, chairman of SAIL on Monday. Coal India which holds 28% in the consortium has been mulling an exit, reports CNBC-TV18.


Verma says that it is difficult to comment until we restructure ICVL, because NTPC has given its clear intent that they don’t want to continue, because they are interested only in thermal coal. But, we have not heard anything from Coal India .
