Bharti-MTN deal to be finalized in 10 days: Sources

CNBC-TV18 learns from sources that clarity on the Bharti-MTN deal finalization can be expected within the next 10 days. Siddharth Zarabi reports.

Both Bharti and MTN are working at a furious pace with due diligence happening on both sides.

Things are expected to be finalized in the next seven to 10 days. Both companies would come out with separate statements on July 31.

It is learnt that Sebi has given an informal guidance to Bharti regarding the open offer and in 10-15 days, two applications will be made, one to the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), the other to the Reserve Bank of India by Bharti.
