Audi, JM Financial buy properties worth Rs 426 cr in Mumbai

In a major commercial real estate transaction, car maker Audi and financial services group, JM Financial have lapping up a Rs 426 crore deal in central Mumbai, reports Priyanka Ghosh of CNBC-TV18, quoting sources.

In a major commercial real estate transaction, car maker Audi and financial services group, JM Financial have lapping up a Rs 426 crore deal in central Mumbai, reports Priyanka Ghosh of CNBC-TV18, quoting sources.


Audi has purchased a 36,000 sq ft ground level space for Rs 126 crore in a posh A Grade building called Synergy in central Mumbai by paying a premium price of Rs 35,000 per sq ft. The space will be used by Audi as part commercial and part retail. Seth Developers is the owner of Synergy


In the same building, the upper floor with area of 1.25 lakh sq ft was purchased by JM Financial for Rs 300 crore. According to market analysts both these transactions are at par with current market rates. However, Sheth promoter has denied the transaction.
