Air India, CMD Arvind Jadhav met with thirteen sections of the union today. They have asked for their presence in all meetings and have asked to be kept in the loop on all important decisions that will be made while restructuring Air India. The unions are threatening to follow a no wage, no work policy soon.

Here is a verbatim transcript of Swati Khandelwal's comments on CNBC-TV18. Also watch the accompanying video.

Air India, CMD Arvind Jadhav met with the union today. The 13 sections of the union met the Air India management. They have asked for their presence in all the meetings and all the important decisions that will be made while restructuring Air India. The unions have not used the word strike but have definitely said that they would go on no wage, no work policy if they do not get their salaries on June 30.

Remember Air India has already announced that they are going to defer salaries of all employees by 15 days. So if that happens clearly they will be some trouble time for Air India. Another meeting is schedule between the Air India management and the unions soon.
