The bailout package and the turnaround package were the most important issues that were discussed yesterday. But the management is very tightlipped about giving details on what exactly they talked about in the Air India board meet which was held in Mumbai because the Management and Board Members have been clearly told by the Ministers and seniors that they are not supposed to leak out anything to the media. If at all the media has to be briefed about the detail that were discussed in board meet, it will be only through the CMD and the Civil Aviation Ministry,

The other issues that were discussed were returning of leased aircrafts, surrendering of the offline or the global distribution system (GDS) stations and as Praful Patel himself has told in the parliament that SBI Caps will appointed for the financial restructuring of the Air India plan.

Prime Minister had advised Air India yesterday, that they should be considering shutting down international offices where they do not fly. We spoke to the Air India Spokesperson and he confirmed that Air India is considering this option.

Another important issue that was discussed was that turnaround committee which had 50% representation from the Union is going to meet tomorrow but then the Union has withdrawn their representation from the Turnaround Committee since their salaries which were supposed to come on July 3 is being delayed again.
