FIIs sell Rs 935 cr in equities on Feb 8 (prov)
The Indian markets ended flat on Monday. FIIs were net sellers in India dedicated funds for 2 weeks. FIIs sold Rs 935 crore while DIIs net bought Rs 381 crore in cash markets on February 8, as per provisional data.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended below 10,000 for the first time since November.
Among the Asia region - Taiwan, China, Japan and Korean indices broke 200 (daily moving average) DMA while India and Singapore markets are close to 200 DMA.
European markets ended 0.6-1.2% higher on Monday.
In commodities, base metals rebounded; copper halted 3-day slump.
Dollar Index declined 0.4% and Nymex Crude gained 1%.

Aggressive volumes were seen in Nifty Futures, which ended at 8-point premium. Build-up was seen at 4,700 Put and 5,200 Call.
Chambal Fertiliser's Open Interest was up 37%; Dabur's Open Interest up 31%; Hindalco's Open Interest up 36% and Tata Steel's Open Interest up 17%.
