Neyveli Lignite to pay Rs 439.5cr dividend to coal ministry

Neyveli Lignite Corporation is planning to pay a dividend of Rs 439.51 crore to the coal ministry for 2011, reports CNBC-TV18.
 
It touched an intraday high of Rs 95.55 and an intraday low of Rs 93. At 09:28 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 94.85, up Rs 2.90, or 3.15%.
 
It was trading with volumes of 51,517 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.11% or Rs 0.10 at Rs 91.95.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 118.00 and 52-week low Rs 67.65 on 28 Apr, 2011 and 23 Nov, 2011, respectively. Currently, it is trading -19.62% below its 52-week high and 40.21% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 15,913.08 crore.

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 7.74 per share. (Sep, 2011). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 12.25. The latest book value of the company is Rs 66.61 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.42. The dividend yield of the company was 2.42%.
