L&T gets Rs 844 cr order from NPCIL; stock up 1%
Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has bagged order worth Rs 844 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation, reports CNBC-TV18. It touched an intraday high of Rs 1,648.30 and an intraday low of Rs 1,631. At 10:07 am, the share was quoting at Rs 1,645.25, up Rs 8.00, or 0.49% on the NSE.

Larsen & Toubro's Infrastructure Operating Company- a part of its construction division (ECC), has secured one of the single largest construction orders in India's Nuclear Power sector by winning a contract valued at Rs 844 Cr from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) for construction of the main plant civil works of Reactor 3&4 at Kakrapar Atomic Power Project, Tapi (Gujarat).
It was trading with volumes of 59,110 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 0.88% or Rs 14.35 at Rs 1,637.25.
