FIPB okays NDTV proposal for 100% foreign equity; stock up

Shares of New Delhi Television ( NDTV ) gained 4% after the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approved company's proposal for up to 100% foreign equity. The stock was quoting at Rs 40, after hitting an intraday high of Rs 42.20 and an intraday low of Rs 39.70.
 
The trading volume went up 79% to 36,593 shares, as compared to its 5-day average of 20,482 shares. Market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 257.89 crore.
 
For the financial year 2010-11, the company posted sales turnover of Rs 347.22 crore and net loss of Rs 98.64 crore.
