Bharti Airtel has acquired 70% stake in Warid Telecom, reports CNBC-TV18. It touched an intraday high of Rs 334.90 and an intraday low of Rs 328.20. At 11:07 am, the share was quoting at Rs 332.90, up Rs 3.95, or 1.20%.

Bharti Airtel touched an intraday high of Rs 334.90 and an intraday low of Rs 328.20. At 11:07 am, the share was quoting at Rs 332.90, up Rs 3.95, or 1.20%.

The company has acquired 70% stake in Warid Telecom, reports CNBC-TV18.

The company said that, "They are going to invest total of USD 1 billion in Warid Telecom and to make fresh investment of USD 300 million."
 
It was trading with volumes of 416,084 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 1.17% or Rs 3.80 at Rs 328.95.
