Today aviation stocks surged on the buzz that the Group of Ministers will discuss a proposal for FDI in aviation in its meeting, reports CNBC-TV18.

Kingfisher Airlines touched an intraday high of Rs 25.65 and an intraday low of Rs 24. At 15:08 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 25.20, up Rs 1.25, or 5.22%. It was trading with volumes of 2,092,726 shares.

SpiceJet touched an intraday high of Rs 22.50 and an intraday low of Rs 20.55. At 15:08 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 22.20, up Rs 1.90, or 9.36%. It was trading with volumes of 6,836,977 shares.

Jet Airways touched an intraday high of Rs 238.30 and an intraday low of Rs 215.25. At 15:08 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 235.25, up Rs 22.10, or 10.37%. It was trading with volumes of 981,147 shares.
