Videocon up on oil discovery in Brazil’s BMC 30 block

Videocon Industries touched an intraday high of Rs 233 and an intraday low of Rs 223.05. At 10:14 am, the share was quoting at Rs 232.70, up Rs 11.80, or 5.34%.

Anadarko Petroleum has found oil in Brazil’s BMC 30 block. BPCL arm and Videocon together holding 25% stake in BMC 30, reports CNBC-TV18.
 
It was trading with volumes of 270,005 shares. Yesterday the share closed down 0.11% or Rs 0.25 at Rs 220.90.

However, At 10:14 am, Bharat Petroleum Corporation was quoting at Rs 531.50, up Rs 5.75, or 1.09%.
