Sun Pharma gains 3% on strong Q3 numbers

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has declared its third quarter numbers. Its Q3 consolidated net profit was up at Rs 668 crore versus Rs 350 crore, YoY. The company's Q3 consolidated net sales were up at Rs 2,145 crore versus Rs 1,561 crore, YoY.

At 14:01 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 557.30, up Rs 16.00, or 2.96%. It touched an intraday high of Rs 559.40 and an intraday low of Rs 548.
 
It was trading with volumes of 231,913 shares, compared to its 5-day average of 52,569 shares, an increase of 341.16%.
 
In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.12% or Rs 0.65 at Rs 541.30.
