Shoppers Stop surges 9% after block deal of 2.4% equity

Shoppers Stop gained as much as 9% to intraday high of Rs 324.30 after a block deal of 19.86 lakh shares or 2.4% equity on the National Stock Exchange at Rs 301.70 a share on Wednesday.

Shoppers Stop gained as much as 9% to intraday high of Rs 324.30 after a block deal of 19.86 lakh shares or 2.4% equity on the National Stock Exchange at Rs 301.70 a share on Wednesday.


At 15:10 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 317.35, up 6.74%. Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 2,621.39 crore.
 
Its trading volumes rose by 1,976.50% to 64,384 equity shares as compared to its 5-day average of 3,101 shares.
