Shares of Essar Oil tanked more than 3% intraday on Tuesday as Supreme Court (SC) has asked the company to pay Rs 1,000 crore in sales tax dues by July 31.
Shares of Essar Oil tanked more than 3% intraday on Tuesday as Supreme Court (SC) has asked the company to pay Rs 1,000 crore in sales tax dues by July 31.
SC will hear company's interest remission petition on July 31. At 14:32 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 53.85, down Rs 1.50, or 2.71% with volumes of 5,08,194 equity shares.
On Monday, the share closed down 2.12% or Rs 1.20 at Rs 55.35.
