Numeric Power Systems will sell UPS operations for Rs 837 crore to Legrand France arm, reports CNBC-TV18.

The UPS operations account for nearly 85% of total company. The company's current marketcap is at Rs 236 crore.

The share touched an intraday high of Rs 280.25 and an intraday low of Rs 280.25. At 09:18 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 280.25, up Rs 46.70, or 20%.
 
There were pending buy orders of 66,753 shares, with no sellers available. It was trading with volumes of 2,637 shares.

In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.87% or Rs 2.05 at Rs 233.55.
