World's largest tea producer Mcleod Russel fell sharply for the second consecutive session amid large volumes on Thursday.

Trading volumes increased nearly 7 times to 1,47,920 equity shares as compared to its five-day average of 22,034 shares.

The stock lost more than 15 percent in two sessions. At 15:19 hours IST, the share was down 8.16 percent to Rs 294.25 on Bombay Stock Exchange.

The share touched its 52-week high Rs 386.95 and 52-week low Rs 268.00 on 22 February, 2013 and 11 May, 2012, respectively.
 
Currently, it is trading 23.96 percent below its 52-week high and 9.79 percent above its 52-week low.
 
Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 3,220.74 crore.
