L&T subsidiary bags orders, stock up 1%

Engineering and construction major by sales Larsen and Toubro (L&T) rose 1% as its subsidiary L&T Construction has secured orders valued Rs 1,523 crore.
 
In a release sent to exchanges, company said, "Buildings & Factories IC bagged new orders worth Rs 546 crore; Infrastructure IC secured orders valued Rs 225 crore; Water and Effluent Treatment business unit has secured turnkey project worth Rs 134 crore from Jharkhand government; Solar business has won order valued Rs 125 crore; Power Transmission & Distribution IC bagged orders worth Rs 195 crore and Minerals & Metals Strategic Business Group has secured orders worth Rs 298 crore."

At 14:38 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 1,418.40, up 1.04% with volumes of 2,63,717 equity shares.

Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 86,916.64 crore.
