JSW Steel loses over 8% post SC orders probe in mining case

Steel products manufacturer JSW Steel dropped as much as 8.4% to touch an intraday low of Rs 606.10 on the BSE after the Supreme court has ordered Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry against the company and BJP's BS Yeddyurappa in the mining case.

Steel products manufacturer JSW Steel dropped as much as 8.4% to touch an intraday low of Rs 606.10 on the BSE after the Supreme court has ordered Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry against the company and BJP's BS Yeddyurappa in the mining case.


At 13:36 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 626.80, down Rs 34.60, or 5.23%. Its traded volumes increased 57% to 8,15,726 shares as compared to its 5-day average of 520,076 shares. Market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 13,984.99 crore.
 
Other group companies like JSW ISPAT Steel and JSW Energy were down 3% and 1%, respectively.
