Govt to consider hike in Urea prices; stocks react

Government is going to consider hike in urea prices ahead of state elections, reports The Economic Times.

Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals touched an intraday high of Rs 84.50 and an intraday low of Rs 82. At 10:25 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 83.55, up Rs 1.90, or 2.33%. It was trading with volumes of 207,473 shares.

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers touched an intraday high of Rs 68.15 and an intraday low of Rs 65. At 10:25 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 66.80, up Rs 2.45, or 3.81%. It was trading with volumes of 532,078 shares.

National Fertilizers touched an intraday high of Rs 87.70 and an intraday low of Rs 81.10. At 10:26 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 85.40, up Rs 4.30, or 5.30%. It was trading with volumes of 189,889 shares.

Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Coprn touched an intraday high of Rs 143.50 and an intraday low of Rs 139. At 10:25 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 142.45, up Rs 5.10, or 3.71%. It was trading with volumes of 8,583 shares.

Zuari Industries touched an intraday high of Rs 486.95 and an intraday low of Rs 475. At 10:25 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 476.10, up Rs 9.80, or 2.10%. It was trading with volumes of 1,823 shares.
