Electrotherm tanks 2% on IMG recommendations

Electrotherm fell 2% each Thursday after the inter-ministerial group (IMG) has finalised recommendations for two coal blocks today.

Electrotherm fell 2% each Thursday after the inter-ministerial group (IMG) has finalised recommendations for two coal blocks today.

IMG has recommended a de-allocation for Dahegaon Makardhokra and Bhaskarpara blocks.

Bhaskarpara block was allotted to Electrotherm and Ultratech Cements while Dahegaon block allotted to Ambuja Cements and Lafarge.

At 15:23 hours IST, Electrotherm (India) was quoting at Rs 48.00, down 2.04%. However, UltraTech Cement gained 2% at Rs 1,834.90.
