Daimler Chrysler AG sells 5.34% stake in Tata Motors

Tata Motors touched an intra day high of Rs 789.90 and an intra day low of Rs 750. At 09:04 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 764.00, down Rs 32.75, or 4.11%.

Daimler Chrysler AG has sold 5.34% stake in Tata Motors, quoting Sources, reports CNBC-TV18.

Daimler plans to sell up to 2.55 crore shares. The issue price of the block deal has been fixed at Rs 737.42-761.30 per share. Daimler will get between Rs 1886-1948 crore via stake sale. Citi is the sole banker to the Tata Motors block deal.
 
It was trading with volumes of 26,963,225 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 0.18% or Rs 1.45 at Rs 796.75.
