Bombay Dyeing tanks 8% after Bombay HC order on land

Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company fell as much as 7.91% to touch a low of Rs 411.15 on Monday after the Bombay High Court asked the company to hand over 65000 square meter of land back to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).

Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company fell as much as 7.91% to touch a low of Rs 411.15 on Monday after the Bombay High Court asked the company to hand over 65000 square meter of land back to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).


At 11:06 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 416.30, down 6.76%. Market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 1,719.61 crore.


Its trading volumes increased 87.41% to 1,00,766 shares as compared to its 5-day average of 53,767 shares.
 
In the previous trading session, the share closed down 0.22% or Rs 1.00 at Rs 446.50.
