There was a block deal of 1.6 crore shares of Ambuja Cements on exchanges at Rs 174.50 per share, reports CNBC-TV18.
Ambuja Cements touched an intraday high of Rs 178.80 and an intraday low of Rs 171.75. At 14:30 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 173.80, down Rs 4.40, or 2.47%.
It was trading with volumes of 10,190,356 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.68% or Rs 1.20 at Rs 178.20.
