BHEL slips on disappointing numbers

At 11:30 am, Bharat Heavy Electricals , BHEL was quoting at Rs 1,832.25, down Rs 21.25, or 1.15%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 1,879 and an intraday low of Rs 1,830.10.

The company's FY08 (provisional) net profit was at Rs 2800 crore versus Rs 2415 crore, reports Newswire 18.
 
It was trading with volumes of 538,709 shares. Yesterday the share closed down 2.05% or Rs 38.70 at Rs 1,853.50.
