At 2:27 pm, NTPC is quoting at Rs 238.50, up Rs 3.75, or 1.60%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 242.95 and an intraday low of Rs 234.60.
The company is going to sign pact with Railways for 1,000 MW plant in Bihar.
It is trading with volumes of 2,429,858 shares. On Friday the share closed up 1.16% or Rs 2.70 at Rs 234.75.
