Zydus Cadila eyes exports of animal healthcare products to Saarc countries. The company has recently entered into a share purchase agreement with Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprise . Animal Healthcare Company started off as a joint venture with Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprise in 2000.

 

Cadila has acquired the remaining 50% holding in the JV, Sarabhai Zydus Animal Health . Turnover of the JV stood at Rs13 crore in 2000. As on March 31, 2007, turnover touched Rs 88.87 crore.

 

This acquisition makes Sarabhai Zydus Animal Health, a 100% subsidiary of the Zydus Cadila Group. The company is targeting a turnover of Rs 100 crore in 2007-08.
