IT and BPO services company Zensar Technologies on Monday launched one-year global business transformation programme for creating resources for retail, operations and financial services sectors.

Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, told presspersons that the programme would be kick-started from the Pune campus and would have 100 students in the first batch. It is expected to begin by March 2008 and the admission process would begin by next month. He said the company has already tied up with organisations such as the Dubai-based Landmark-Lifestyle Group which would be absorbing 50 students from the first batch.

Quoting statistics, Dr Nikhil Agarwal, Director, Zensar Centre for Business Innovation, noted that India currently has over 1,500 business schools and a total enrolment of around 40,000 graduates.
