Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) (BSE: 505537, NSE: ZEEL.EQ) today reported its third quarter fiscal 2009 consolidated revenues of Rs 5,456 million, representing a 5% growth over the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. With this, the year to date revenues of the company is now up 27% as compared to the corresponding period last fiscal. The consolidated operating profit (EBITA) for the third quarter of this fiscal stood at Rs 1,116 million, profit before tax stood at Rs 1,132 million and profit after tax at Rs 840 million. Operating profit (EBITA) margin for the third quarter stood at 20%.

The numbers as published are after consolidating the financials of Taj TV Limited (Taj), ETC Networks Limited (ETC) and Zee Turner Limited. The Board of Directors in its meeting held today, has taken on record the unaudited consolidated financial results of ZEEL and its subsidiaries for the quarter ended December 31, 2008.
