Bangalore based Yos Technologies, the upcoming company in the Healthcare IT domain, today announced the general availability of its flagship product YosCare. YosCare is a comprehensive "Personal Healthcare System" which includes Personal Health Records (PHRs), Healthcare tools and applications for Preventive and Continuous Care.
With this, users worldwide can login to the YosCare site (www.yoscare.in) and start using the product to effectively manage their health.
With YosCare, users can store their health records online, access this from anywhere, anytime using PC or mobile and generate various health reports. In addition users will be able to manage their complete health calendar, have access to health information and self-help tools like health calculators, health-risk assessment tools, etc through their personalized Health portal.
In addition, two special Condition Care packages have also been announced for Diabetes Care and Infertility Care. The Infertility Care package is available for all, while the Diabetes Care package is open for Beta customers currently.
Announcing the release, Vijaya Verma, Founder and CEO of Yos Technologies said “Yos Technologies believes strongly in patient empowerment as the first step to improving quality of healthcare, since better informed patients are more likely to actively work with their providers to get better care for themselves and their families, and will no longer just be passive recipients of healthcare.”
Yos Technologies also believes that health management will get the required attention from users provided it is enabled in a secure and convenient way. With YosCare, users can not only access their records through Internet, but can also use simple SMS-based applications to manage their health calendar, record and monitor key health parameters, get list of active medications and more from their mobiles.
“For patients who are suffering from a specific condition, continuity of care is very critical. Anytime, anywhere availability of consolidated health records and timely use of information and tools is critical for chronic patients to manage their condition. YosCare’s Condition Care packages have been designed with this kind of focus - allowing patients to better monitor their conditions and improve their quality of life”, added Vijaya Verma.
