Drugmaker Wockhardt 's insulin brand 'Wosulin' is in trouble. CNBC-TV18 reports that the state food and drug administration has directed Wockhardt to immediately withdraw all stocks of the Wosluin brand on the basis of complaints received from consumers.

 

The State FDA sources said that FDA is yet to do its own examination, but Wosulin samples have been already been sent to the central research institute in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh.

 

The exact reason for withdrawing the stock is unknown, but some sources point out that there could be manufacturing issues with Wosulin. Wockhardt officials declined to comment on the development.
