The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week culminated yesterday with a magical Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale by Rajesh Pratap Singh. Drawing inspiration from one of the most sublime human emotions, Singh interpreted Deeper Love in his unique signature style.
Deeper Love is about passion and intensity. The collection is a magnificent portrayal of intense love, that uplifts the human spirit arousing the supreme sentiments of selflessness and sacrifice, and its varied hues whether for one’s belief, one’s faith, or one’s beloved. The collection uses 1940’s construction with emphasis on the shoulders and 1920’s low waisted shapes. Influences from 1920’s lingerie construction are also seen. Using primarily silk and wool, the collection intermixes hard and soft structures.
“The collection showcased today is stamped with Rajesh’s sophisticated and meticulous style. Our partnership with Rajesh extends beyond the ramp. Today’s grand finale collection will inspire the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week line to be retailed at our stores,” said Atul Chand, Vice President – Marketing, ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Pratap Singh said, “To be a part of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Grand Finale is extremely prestigious and I am glad to be associated with a brand like Wills Lifestyle. Our association goes beyond the ramp; my collection will now be available at Wills Lifestyle stores across the country.”
As the curtains came down on the Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale show, it was time to head to Dublin at ITC Maurya Sheraton where Wills Lifestyle hosted a party celebrating the successful conclusion of this edition of WIFW. The party mood was set by DJ Suketu and Gary Lawyer’s band.
