Western Digital , a leading global hard drive manufacturer, today announced the appointment of Aditya Infotech Ltd., a specialist distributor in the surveillance and AV market segments, to sell WD's® range of surveillance and AV products in India.

SATA interface-based hard drives, specialized for video recording applications, are finding increasing use in surveillance solutions and the AV market. WD has a range of specialized SATA interface drives that are suitable for these markets for their high capacities, low power consumption and quiet and cool operation. WD AV and WD RE2 hard drives are widely deployed in these systems.
