Welspun India Ltd., part of the $ 1 billion group, Asia’s largest and the world’s 4th largest terry towel producer, has been awarded the Outstanding Textile Exporter of the year 2006-07 by CNBC TV 18’s International Trade Awards.

Recently, Welspun India acquired Christy, the 150 year-old, numero uno Towel brand in the U.K and exclusive supplier to Wimbledon, U.K.
