Even as the debate over WalMart's entry into India with Bharti continues, the retail giant's Vice Chairman Michael Duke was in Mumbai yesterday along with his team of company officials, reports CNBC-TV18.

He spent 4 hours combing the aisles of leading retail chains like Spencers Hypermarket, Shoppers' Stop, Crossword and Hypercity. He was accompanied by Bharti's Rajan Mittal.

Michael Duke is in Delhi today and is likely to meet government officials including the Commerce Minister, Kamal Nath.
